Josh & Lauren's Fall Wedding

1.jpg

I first met Lauren when she booked a portrait session with me back in June and I remember thinking to myself, "how are we not friends?!"  At that time, the plan wasn't for me to shoot her wedding, but as luck would have it, I did!!  Not only was I excited about shooting their big day because I knew it would be beautiful, but The Millstone at Adams Pond is where I married my love... years ago! So I am a little biased on how much I love that venue!

Everything about Lauren's attire was to die for! From her gorgeous gown to her stunning shoe, she looked amazing! Check out that ring!  Yes, please!

Parkland Cakes never disappoints (again... biased...) This cake looks like pure perfection with those beautiful accent flowers from White House Wedding Flowers.

One of the best parts of the day (for me) is getting to spend time with the bridal party while they get ready.  It helps me build a relationship with them as individuals and a group before all the craziness of the day begins.  As soon as I walked in I knew it was going to be a wild ride!  They were soooo much fun!

First looks have become an intimate way for the bride and the groom to see each other before they hit that aisle.  One of the perks about doing a first look is that you can take care of some of the formal pictures before the ceremony. Josh and Lauren wanted to share that moment together and decided to do a first look.  We were able to get a good bit of the bridal party pictures done before they even said their nuptuals, giving us this incredible light after the ceremony for couple portraits!

Check out Bill Grant with Cinema Couture getting a super fun shot of the bridal party celebrating!

Josh and Lauren's fur baby was their ring bearer, so of course he had to be there for family photos! It always amazes me when dogs actually sit there and cooperate!  Our dogs... not so much!  They would be all over the place.  Way to go, Mack!

It didn't take long before everyone was cutting a rug on the dance floor.  I'm not going to lie.. even I wanted to get out there!  Who doesn't want to bust out in dance when "Bye, Bye, Bye" or the Wobble come on?!

Josh and Lauren,

I hope this first month of marriage (plus 1 day) has been just as much fun as you two are! I had a total blast with y'all!

xoxo
