Beautiful Downtown Columbia Wedding

I remember when I met with this couple. I threw my name in the hat when Caroline posted in a group that she was looking for a photographer. Like usual, a ridiculous amount of people commented, but Caroline and I connected and scheduled a consultation.

So Caroline, Taylor and I met one day at my studio. I showed them galleries and they shared their vision. I knew right away that we were meant to meet. However….. they were meeting with another photographer and sometimes people don’t like booking on the spot. Happens all the time. But when I left, I made the normal call to my husband and told him that I would be so sad if they didn’t book me. I fell in love with these two, which is cheesy.. I get it.. but seriously! I anxiously awaited Caroline’s response for a few days, and then it came! The “WE NEED YOU!!!!” message and I did my happy dance. But it’s business, right? So no connection, just get it done.

NEGATIVE.

Not in this profession. My couples are so much more than just clients.

Let’s start with their venue and décor. 1208 Washington Place is one of my favorite venues right now… it’s just so fun and has so much character. Check out all of the florals. They are so full and perfect. I knew it would be after our consultation, but everything was so classy. Everything was so elegant.

How sweet are these little moments?!

I’m not going to lie, I teared up a little bit during these first dances. Like I said, my clients mean so much to me and I was so happy for Taylor and Caroline.

Remember when I said this venue had so much character? This vault makes my heart so happy. I loved that we were able to get really cool photos inside as well as beautiful images outside.

Congratulations, Taylor & Caroline! I wish you many years of love and happiness! <3

I look forward to our future wine nights!
