Nathan and Cassie’s August wedding day at The Cotton Press was one of those celebrations that proves love outshines any weather. While the rain seemed determined to stay for most of the day—with only the briefest breaks here and there—it didn’t dampen their spirits. In fact, the rain became part of the story, giving us the chance to capture some truly fun and memorable images that reflect just how much joy surrounded them.

The bridal party looked incredible and brought such personality to the day. The groomsmen were sharp in all-black suits, which gave a modern and timeless touch, while the ladies turned heads in a mix of colorful dresses that brought vibrancy and flair to every photo. Together, they created the perfect balance of elegance and personality.

Their florals tied everything together beautifully. A mixture of oranges, pinks, and whites with just the right touches of green created arrangements that were fresh, vibrant, and full of life. The colors not only complemented the bridal party but also brought warmth and cheer into every space, making the rain outside feel completely secondary to the celebration happening inside.

When it came time for couple portraits, Nathan and Cassie made my job the easiest it could ever be. These two share a love like I’ve never seen before. There was no need for me to give much direction—every time they were together, they couldn’t stop loving on each other. Their smiles, their laughter, and the way they naturally gravitated toward each other was nothing short of inspiring.
