Rainy Engagement Session at Farm at Ridgeway

The weather was questionable on the day that we scheduled Andy and Megan’s engagement session. It was just a little cloudy the entire morning, but the moment we pulled into the venue is when the drizzle began. We were able to find a little shelter under the trees near the back of the venue (which I shamefully admit to never exploring before.) We were at their wedding venue, but not. It was a totally different view and vibe.

They cuddled as they acted like they had done this shoot a million times. It was one of those sessions where I gave a little direction and they took it from there. The rain was light enough to where you couldn’t really tell in the beginning, but it was steady!

Here’s where we can really start to see the rain. Most people would have called it, but we fought through and found shelter under the big covered bridge at the back on the property. It was perfect and really helped make some cool shots!

Megan and Andy had only booked me for their engagement session at this point, so I was over the moon when they booked me shortly after their gallery delivery. Their wedding was almost a year later and, not to give too much away, but it was equally as amazing!

How could it not be though?! Aren’t they adorable!?
