Nothing screams fall quite like an intimate September wedding held the day before the official start of the season! Anne and Nick's wedding at The Vines in Lexington, South Carolina, was the perfect way to welcome one of our favorite times of the year.

The colors Anne and Nick chose felt so effortlessly perfect for the setting. From the subtle green in Nick's shirt and floral tie to the delicate embroidered leaves on Anne's veil, every detail seemed to complement the next without feeling overly coordinated. Even the smallest touches, like their green velvet ring box and the greenery on their wedding cake, fit together so naturally. It was one of those weddings where everything just worked, and I loved how their personalities came through in the details.

And can we talk for just a sec about these stained glass signs? ANNE MADE THOSE HERSELF!!!

I don't get out to The Vines nearly as often as I'd like, but every time I do, I'm reminded just how much I love this venue. The rows of grapevines are hands down my favorite part! There's something about the way they frame a photograph that makes even the simplest portraits feel so romantic. And with Anne's gorgeous train spread out between the vines, we couldn't have asked for a prettier setting.

Their outdoor ceremony space was just as lovely, with white chairs, simple floral arrangements, and the vineyard stretching out behind them. Everything felt intimate and inviting, which suited the entire day perfectly.

One of my favorite things about photographing Anne and Nick was how comfortable they were together. Whether they were tucked between the vineyard rows or sharing a quiet moment during portraits, nothing needed to be overcomplicated. Just the two of them, enjoying their wedding day, surrounded by a setting that couldn't have suited them better.
