Hot Pink & Heartfelt: Caleb and Paige’s Chic January Wedding at 701 Whaley
There’s something magnetic about a winter wedding, and Caleb and Paige’s January celebration at 701 Whaley was no exception. Crisp air, bold color choices, and meaningful personal touches made their day feel as vibrant as spring—even in the middle of winter.
We started the day at a Columbia Airbnb where Paige and her girls spent the morning getting their hair and makeup done. There was a sense of calmness and excitement in the air before heading to their church.
Caleb was the definition of dapper in his classic black tux. From the sharp tailoring to the timeless style, he looked every bit the part of a groom straight out of a magazine spread. There’s just something about a well-fitted tux that turns heads—and Caleb absolutely owned the look. A true showstopper on his wedding day!
When I say there was a calmness, this is what I mean. Both Caleb and Paige were able to take a breather before go time, and I loved being able to freeze this moment for them.
The historic venue set the tone: industrial charm met timeless elegance. Its exposed brick and tall windows were the perfect canvas for the couple’s bold aesthetic. The wedding party, dressed entirely in classic black, added a sleek, modern contrast to the vibrant hot pink florals that popped throughout the day. From bouquets bursting with color to the reception tables, the florals made a statement that was both playful and sophisticated. But what truly stood out about Caleb and Paige’s day was the way they wove their personalities into every corner of their celebration.
I am always looking for fun framing and I loved the contract in this ceremony photo!
Paige and Caleb decided on a traditional exit from their ceremony with birdseed. It was so fun, but also very messy. Not pictured…. me trying to get a whole ton of birdseed out of Paige’s hair LOL!
They chose to to do a first look, so their couple portraits were a beautiful mix of golden hour light and artificial light. This is what I mean when I say I am prepared for all lighting scenarios on wedding days.
PARTY TIME!!!
Their reception was a BLAST! I love the LED wands, but these light up cowboy hats were a hit! I’m obsessed!
Caleb and Paige’s wedding was a bold and beautiful reminder that tradition can be reimagined, and a cold January day can feel incredibly warm when it’s filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of pink!
Congratulations, Caleb and Paige! Your wedding was amazing!
