Riverfront Park Engagement Session

There’s something special about photographing a couple who’s as joyful and connected as Erin and Grant. Their engagement session at Riverfront Park in Columbia, South Carolina was full of sweet laughter, meaningful glances, and the kind of quiet love that shows up naturally in every image.

We started their session on the iconic bridge that stretches across the river—a perfect spot to showcase their dressier look. Grant looked dapper in a tailored navy blue windowpane suit and white button-down shirt, while Erin’s ruffled white dress gave off the perfect blend of charm and elegance. It was the kind of outfit that felt classic but still playful—just like the two of them.

As we wandered the path lined with crepe myrtle trees and tucked-away benches, they changed into more relaxed, summery styles. Erin’s floral maxi dress was soft and flowing with just the right amount of movement, and Grant kept things easy with jeans and a light blue button-down. This second look brought out their playful side—they twirled, snuggled on a bench, and strolled hand-in-hand under a canopy of pink blooms.
