Logan & Adelyn’s Spring Wedding at Tin Roof Farms

Some wedding days are special because of the details. Some because of the people. And then there are the ones that feel like they were meant to happen from the very beginning.

Adelyn and Logan’s March wedding was one of those for me.

When Adelyn and I first hopped on a call to talk about her wedding photography, she said something that immediately stopped me in my tracks: “You may not remember me, but you took our prom photos.”

And just like that… I did.

I was out at Cedar Ridge Tree Farm that day for a senior session, when I noticed this sweet couple all dressed up but without a photographer. I didn’t think twice—I just grabbed a few photos for them while I had a moment. It wasn’t planned, it wasn’t booked… it just felt like the right thing to do.

And that couple was Adelyn and Logan.

She remembered. She held onto those photos. And standing there on that call, hearing her tell that story back to me—it was one of those moments that reminds you just how much the little things matter.

We ran into each other again later at a bridal show, and by then it felt like more than coincidence. It felt like one of those threads that had been quietly tying everything together all along.

Fast forward to March, and I had the absolute honor of photographing their wedding day.

Getting to be a part of their story—not just at the beginning in a completely unexpected way, but at such a meaningful milestone—meant more to me than I can really put into words. Their day was full of joy, intention, and so much love… but for me, it carried an extra layer of gratitude.

Because what started as a few unplanned prom photos turned into something so much bigger.

And that’s the kind of story I’ll never forget.
